Iowa State (1/12): Totaled a 39.325 in her first all-around during her Rec Hall debut…Scored a 9.9 on floor to earn a share of the event title, her first as a Nittany Lion…Also posted a 9.85 on vault, a 9.775 on bars, and a 9.8 on beam. Regional Second Round (4/4): Bounced back from a tough outing at the Big Ten Championships with yet another 39.350 all-around tally, this time in her first NCAA competition…Recorded a 9.85 on vault, a 9.775 on bars, a 9.875 on beam, and a 9.85 on floor to help the Nittany Lions advance to their first-ever Regional Final. Regional Final (4/6): Scored 9.8s on vault and bars, and added a 9.825 on beam with a 9.725 on floor in her final meet of her freshman season with the Nittany Lions.
GYMNASTICS BACKGROUND
McElligott was coached by Tammy Marshall, Kelly Roughan, and Annia Hatch at Infiniti Elite…She was a national qualifier in 2022, finishing 9th in the all-around…In 2021 and 2022, she was the level 10 regional all-around champion…She placed sixth in the all-around, including a second-place performance on bars, at level 10 Nationals in 2021.
